I am building my own lil web app to calculate average damage given and taken based on the type of gear, level of gear and maxed class I am compared to the same stats of my opponent. What I am finding that I have trouble with is the current guide.
Agent Augment for one, is it referring to the bonus the character gets for this augment at that level, or is it cumulative? Does a person with the 3rd rank of the augment get a total of +2/+2 or +3/+3. I am apt to believe that the final value is being represented on the final rank, but then other factors in other areas make me question the consistency of this logic. For instance...Enforcer. You get a +1 with hammers and blades, then a +2 in another section, and in the final section it doesn't mention the +2 with hammers and blades anymore. Does this mean that it's lost, or is it +3 with hammers and blades and an additional +6 with hammers and blades with >25% health?
I would like to see augments and classes being rewritten with a different logic showing the totals of all bonuses for that rank, or a table showing the change of that rank to the left and the total to the right. Then again, I don't mind the idea of a +3 and a +6 to hammers and blades when under 25% life...but then it would indicate that the Sentinel gets a +1 to ranged damage instead of +3, though update on Andrew's Idea makes it sound like the Sentinel gets a total of +2 to ranged damage instead. If that logic is ruling, the current form of the guide makes it difficult to see the total bonuses with the higher rank, as you have to sift through previous ranks and disclude anything redone in the higher rank while keeping whatever else was talked about. Have I beat this horse down enough?
